Scour

Scour is a 2D side-scrolling Metroidvania game inspired by Hollow Knight. Player plays as a nameless person, who wakes up one day, finding himself in ruins. As the story progresses, players discover that colours and emotions have been taken away by the elder gods. 

The world is set in a dark fantasy world is at its end. The controled character was a person once dead, and it was back to life for the reason that the world needed the character to end the world, as it the world destruction was meant to be, but it was stopped for some reasons. The world is filled with shattered shard of items and NPCs that will tells the back story of this world, a damaged soldier, perceiver of the world, sassy guider and a mushroom. Relics that can be collected can briefly tells the story of the environment, for what it had happened.
